The Incan's is an indigenous tribe centered in the Andean region in South America with the capital being Cusco, Peru. The Incan people had the largest empire in pre-Colombian history and their ruling time spanned from 1438 - 1533.

While in the town of Ollantaytambo, we hiked to Pumamarca and then the Incan trail. We hiked this trail for 3 hours and we also saw all of their ancient and well preserved structures while walking through the mountains with views of the Andes mountains. On the walk I had no idea how many new plants I saw but there were so many cool flowers and plants everywhere and with those came super cool bugs like stick bugs and green vibrant beetles.

At Pumamarca, we were met with an older man who was cutting grass who was very excited to meet and talk to us. After talking to the man for about thirty minutes we walked towards Incan trail, the trail was mostly downhill so it was not killing our legs which helped us really enjoy the nature around us. The weather was super nice but it eventually it started to rain heavy for a while but it was still so nice and maybe even better in the rain. The walk was so peaceful and it almost went by too fast. The views of the Andes mountains were right next door and so overwhelming and beautiful at the same time.

The Incan were very intelligent and figured out how to grow certain crops using an irrigation system and terrace design. We went to see their work at Moray in Cusco and it was fascinating, the ground was also perfectly flat and green with the rocks all perfectly placed none sticking out more than others.
