These are frog legs
These are frog legs

Today I went to the Cambodian National Museum and we learned about the culture and the religion. I thought that the artifacts and the meanings behind them were interesting, and learning about how Cambodian Buddhism originated from Hindu religion. Learning about the sculptures was also interesting.

After the museum,  we came back to our hotel to have lunch. To drink, I had a green tea iced latte and it arrived fairly quickly. I tried not to drink it super quick like I usually do but eventually I gave in and inhaled it. Anyway, there was more ice than the drink itself and it tasted like any other matcha. For our meal, we had sun dried beef and papaya salad, the papaya salad is simultaneously spicy, salty and a little bit sweet. The sun dried beef pairs perfectly with the papaya salad, the beef is so chewy and gets stuck in your teeth so easily and it comes with a spicy and sweet sauce. The beef was so good it puts Jack Links to shame. For lunch, I also got spicy stir fried frog legs. It came in a spicy and garlicky sauce with basil mixed into the sauce. It's so good but hits you in the throat like a grenade launcher. The waiter must have CTE because they kept forgetting our orders. I would highly recommend trying Cambodian food instead of Thai food because I feel like it’s more original. I would give it a 7.4/10.
